How it works

You send a part number. I do the hunting.

  1. Send the part

    Catalog number, series, and quantity. A photo of the nameplate helps if you have one.

  2. I track it down

    Surplus dealers, refurb shops, and auction stock. If it's out there, I'll find it.

  3. You get a written quote

    Price, condition, and lead time, plus warranty terms when they apply. New, used, tested-used, or refurbished, spelled out plainly.

  4. You decide

    Nothing gets ordered until you say so. Once you approve, I place the order and get it shipped to you.

I'm Jae.

I run Detroit Automation Surplus out of Metro Detroit. Before this I spent more than ten years running warehouses and production floors, with a background in inventory systems and electro-mechanical repair. When you send a part number, you're dealing with me directly, from the first quote to the box showing up at your dock.
